Tom Rippin 

After some years of working in cancer research, Tom wanted to work in the social sector. Dubious of the training, development and career opportunities he would be able to access there, he decided instead to go into management consulting with McKinsey & Company.

After five years, he did eventually transition into the social sector, first as an advisor on private sector matters to the CEO of Comic Relief and then at (RED), the business founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver to help eliminate AIDS in Africa, where he was the Managing Director for Europe and the Director of Business Development for (RED) International.  As well as running On Purpose, Tom is the CEO of the Free Business School and the Chairman of Spice.
